Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcin Iskra.
Marcin was passionate about street photography ever since he moved to Chicago from a small town in Poland. Chicago streets were filled with interesting people from all over the world, which was a perfect playground for an aspiring street photographer. He also loved incorporating his subjects into the amazing Chicago architecture. Since, he was an architecture student and he was very passionate about shapes, details and light, which worked well in developing his style. After getting married to his wife – Magdalena, who was at the time a model and took part at various wedding and bridal shows, he caught the “wedding bug”. From this moment, He and Magdalena became a husband and wife wedding photography team, working side by side. Working together over the weekends, while maxing business and pleasure, they were able to spend time together and develop their passion for photography and business.
Has it been a smooth road?
Yes and no. As a small business owner, we do not believe it is ever a smooth ride. Challenges and mistakes means learning from them. After several years in the business, we could look back and admire the progress that we have made as both, photographers and business owners.

We mainly photograph weddings but we occasionally photography family sessions of our past clients.
Magdalena has also established her own Boudoir photography business (www.pureboudoir.com).
We are known for our classy wedding portraits and our clean style. We are most proud of being consistent with our top notch client experience. We would say that what sets us apart from other great photographers is our consistency and great client relationships . Our clients become our friends in many cases.

Yes, we feel that Chicago is a wonderful place for our business as it has all types of potential clients. Yes, we would recommend someone that is starting out in the business to start in Chicago. There is room and enough work for everyone.
